Maureen, I'm pretty good at deciphering typos - I make the odd one myself. To loosely quote Oscar Wilde: "A writer can survive anything except a misprint" (hope that's close enough). He could have added "or typo".

Yes I saw a demonstration of that ability a while back and it is pretty amazing what the brain can do automatically.
