Hi everyone
I'm with you Ross. Can't hack crosswords.
Don't know about chess either. At least at Scrabble I can put some words together - unless I'm stymied with all vowels or all consonants.
Went on a guided walk in NZ years ago where the two guides played Scrabble with the guests every night. These blokes regularly used up all their seven letters - wiped the floor with us every night.
Cheers, Jeff

You could be right Heather.
A scrabble poem eh Bob, there's a challenge. A big challenge there.
You gotta go for the crossword Jeff. Separates the high from the low brows.
Every day I do the cryptic crossword in the newspaper. Then I have to contend with the cryptic cross words from the old girl, that's even harder.

G'day all,
Love scrabble, but will not have Monopoly in the house. I have seen family feuds begin with a game of Monopoly. People get real serious when money is involved. Even when
it is fake.

Hi Zondrae
Thanks for your interest. Ah, Monopoly - fond memories of hotels on Park Lane & Mayfair. I agree with you though - some new personalities emerge in that game.
Regards, Jeff
