I remember '84 - we were ruled by birds, the choice was a Hawke or a Peacock, Leigh Matthews was still playing footy, those "Choose Life" shirts worn by Wham! in the Wake Me Up Before You Go Go clip were in, I'm sure we had computers I remember floppy discs :? Amstrad and Commodore 64's - incidently a Commodore was also a band headed by Lionel Ritchie, a car (RIP Kingswood) and a packet of cigarettes, and . . . . I'm sure we had seat belts.

I didn't have a computer :) (I meant when I studied the book 1984, not in 1984) I don't think most people had computers in 1984 though. I probably didn't have my first computer until about 1985ish. It had floppy discs. Kids wouldn't know what a floppy disc was now.

You are right about seat belts Marty. They became compulsory in Victoria in 1970.

Never needed any of them either Heather, I was only thinking that other day will the kids of today still be able to say " Those were the good old days ".

And if I had not been born a boy I would have had no toys to play with at all !
