.....umm...'day day'..?

You know something Neil? About a hundred years ago we did Tenterfield together, & to this day I still crack up when I recall you on stage, in a fisherman's get up...oil coat hat etc...& a patch over your eye...and you said...''Aye aye... I think I've got this patch on the wrong eye.''  It just creases me....all this time later. You're a very funny man my friend.

Wrote a cheque for the Power Company, a song for Mozart (Nev has his address I think) and a small poem about Australia called Paraguay.

Cheers

Neil

Yay! Yeah....but I'm a 'GI' now...that's 'geographically impossible.'' I escaped from the lunatic asylum, otherwise known as a unit complex in Kooralbyn, & bought an old Queenslander in THEODORE QLD. You gotta be going this way if you're headed for Emerald at all....or Rocky...There's plenty of room for a swag & mega sheds with a Bush Poetry venue future.
Would love to see you again...I guess 'the kids' are all 2 feet taller than me by now, but I'd love to know how they are going...& Colleen too.
Big hugs to youse all...

Anybody read the new book, 'Waltzing Matilda - The Secret History of Australia's Favourite Song', by Dennis O'Keeffe (published by Allen & Unwin)? I picked up my copy from Dennis at the NFF. He tells me it is going very well, and is already into a second print run.
