Here's a test for Marty boy.
How to kill a lump of soy?
Grab a fork and run it through?
Bash it with some four be two?
Throw it in a boiling pot?
Is it dead or is it not?
Give that arty food a push!
There's no place for it in the bush!

G'day Marty and Stephen

first... please stay away from my girls (chooks). They are producing 3 eggs every day and for only 3 girls that is pretty good. They did have a spell for a while and some days I only collected one egg but now back into full production.

Second perhaps you should have a read of Greg North's poem about Tofu. I'm sure you would get a laugh out of it.

Oh, and Marty.. sorry to 'peck' at your poem but ten and end do not rhyme. I'll have to post something of mine now for you to have a go at.

Tale that must be told, sometime.

Heard you the first time Jim

Marty just chop their bloody head off.

I used to help dad with the task when just a lad but I don't think it is something I would relise now. Can remember when that was the only time we had chicken and it was a real treat.

Christmas things up in the shops already and Bananas still $ 10.98 a kilo whats the world coming to ?.

Beheading ducks was more fun, I remember watching granddad decapitate them and some would fly off headless quite remarkable distances.
But must admit with my blood thirsty youth well behind me now, I've grown quite soft hearted in my latter years and don't like killing anything these days.
