GIVE IT A GO
Have you woken in a cold sweat from a nightmare?
You know – the ones where you are falling from a plane
without a parachute to save you, or even yet a prayer
Well I have them and it seems I’m not insane.
Seems at any given time our population
seems to think that there is sometimes no way out,
of a given situation, be it marriage, work, financial
they have mislaid their escape clause without doubt.
So if at times you feel a fog surround you
and the path ahead is misty and obscure
perhaps a quiet word is all that's needed
with the man upstairs – he’ll listen that’s for sure.
He may not send a quick fix to your doorstep
or immediate solution to your pain
But his love like golden mist will just surround you.
Don’t believe me? Give it one more try again.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.

Re: GIVE IT A GO
If at first you don't succeed applies to many facets of life

Re: GIVE IT A GO
I know what you mean Maureen. And sometimes we need to use our God-given brain and do something ourselves, about the situations.
