Re: Gidday Robyn
G'day Robyn,
Thank you for your company at the awards on Saturday. It was delightful to have the 'girls' all together and supporting each other. We will have to keep up our challenges in the performance competitions and hope the organisers expand their coms to include at least one section for ladies. My group "Illawarra Breakfast Poets" are planning an event in July 2012. So far we have only discussed a written comp followed by a concert - if we expand it at all, I will be pressing for at least one 'Ladies' section. We might not be able to plunge into the performance area yet. I saw what a big job the judging was at Crookwell. Being our first competition we may just stick to the written comp the first year.
Congratulations on your award, you are certainly holding up the ladies end very well.

Thanks. I'm a bit slow at all this, but hopefully I'll work it all out soon.

Robyn did a fantastic job reciting at Crookwell. I had the pleasure of seeing her at Benalla a few weeks ago as well - and she is a lovely lady to boot!
