Is Santa Getting Fatter?
Is Santa Getting Fatter?
Stephen Whiteside 23.12.2011
Is Santa the man getting fatter?
This centre of humour and mirth,
This 'ho, ho', and 'ho',
With belly on show,
Slowly increasing his girth?
Last year he ruined my chimney.
It cost me a good sum to fix;
Scattered around
Far and wide on the ground,
A chaos of mortar and bricks.
My chimney is not getting smaller;
Side to side, front to back, it's the same.
Too many lollies
And similar follies?
Is Santa Claus dropping his game?
This year, my chimney is stronger.
I've finished a complex repair.
Please, Santa, tomorrow,
Don't compound my sorrow.
Tread lightly, and treat it with care!

Fortunately Stephen, you won't have to worry, Santa is just an imaginary friend.

Seen Santa in the bottle o at the local last week.
Now I don't know about the rest of you folk but i would rather receive a kiss or a hug from a grand child or a simple I love you instead of all the run around about buying the correct present ?
Santa has a lot to be responsible for.

So much easier without chimneys Stephen - no doubt poor old Santa is giving in to gravitational pull
as he ages.
Have a lovely Christmas Stephen, Hope Santa finds you
Cheers

Re: Is Santa Getting Fatter?
Thanks, Maureen, and the same for you.
Yes, I have visions of Santa going down to the local chimney shop and trying several different ones on for size.
"Does my bum look big in this?"
"No, sir, the bricks cover it up remarkably well, actually."
