Pull’em Up!
M.Pattie
“Get them while they’re young!” said Aberfeldy to the boys.
The words he said, they filled that shed with rounds of rousing noise.
So young Comb-over Kenny, and his cohort Lugs Macleay,
With dodgy ties and brain-washed eyes went searching for their prey.
And little Skeeter Coghlan, he played marbles in the lane
His shorts like clowns were hand-me-downs, all baggy, loose and plain.
Up waltzed Comb-over Kenny, and Lugs Macleay so bold
They saw they had the perfect lad for Aberfeldy’s fold.
Amongst the sweet young choir boys, they’d not look out of sorts,
But Lugs and Ken were cruel young men to boys with baggy shorts.
They lured young Skeeter to the shed with charismatic charms,
With wicked thoughts of Skeeter’s shorts pulled up under his arms.
He looked at Aberfeldy with his captives at his sides,
His big voice spoke to each young bloke “Pull up that young boys stride’s!”
They pulled up Skeeter’s baggy pants and pulled the draw string tight,
Whilst Kenny beamed, young Skeeter seemed to dart his eyes in fright.
Now Skeeter’s passed this tale on, and it’s how things came to pass –
Today the young boys shorts are hung down well below their arse.
