Yes, I know. What are all the poor people eating today? I should be so lucky...but, really!
Lasagne

A household member’s fallen sick?
All the neighbours rally quick.
Lasagne.
Cut a square. Remainder, save.
Glad wrap, bowl and microwave.
Lasagne.
It’s always going for a song.
It’s never right. It’s never wrong.
Lasagne.
Meat. Tomato. Pasta. Cheese.
Layered. Solid. Heat or freeze.
Lasagne.
What’s the food that never fails
When life is going off the rails?
Lasagne.

Thanks Marty, Heather.
Might have cost the sheep an arm or a leg, Marty.

Re: Lasagne
G'day Stephen,
I guess I should warn you I am in a most peculiar mood today..
I wonder why you haven't taken the option of listing your poems in the 'Index' of members poems?
I find it a good reference point to direct people who ask me where they can find my poems. Also because I have kept them in alpha order it is much easier to look back at something (should I wish to) than paging through general posts. I also have kept count of the poems mine merely 47 - your poems must number well over 100.
This is just a random thought of mine. I don't understand why you and other regular posters are not taking advantage of this excellent tool.

Re: Lasagne
Hi, Zondrae.
I suppose I couldn't really see any great advantage in it. The precise number does not seem especially important. I usually refer people to my blog if they want to see my poetry. It's very out of date now, but most of my best poems for children are on it.
