Absolutely!

Post by alongtimegone » Tue May 14, 2013 2:52 pm

Did I have fun writing this? Absolutely I did.

I’m absolutely up to here with hearing absolutely.
The way some people use it has me absolutely pissed.
It’s absolutely everywhere and absolutely catching.
It’s absolutely sent me absolutely round the twist.
See I’m absolutely anxious ‘cause I’m absolutely certain
I’ll be absolutely using absolutely in this way.
To be absolutely honest I feel absolutely shamed,
feeling guilty, see I've used it maybe several times today.
And the problem is I think sometimes I use the word so cutely
that it sounds good. Am I worried? Absolutely!

Hey, Wazza, you've got a new fish!

Don't you just hate it when you are so conscious of a word that you hear it all the time, everywhere, constantly?

Heather :)

Well I have to say dear Wazza that I like yes like your poem
'cause it's like you know like nothing that i read here in my home
and it's like, I dunno, like something I might of heard before
not absolutely certain but I like it that's for sure :?

Thanks Maureen. I enjoyed your rhyming response. Absolutely I did.

Yes Heather ... It's a juvenile barra. Caught in a creek off the Fitzroy River south of Derby. It was released to get a little bigger. I was getting tired of the mud crab.
