Goodonya Manfred. My youngest son is a much better fisherman than I ever was, he's my mentor in that regard. ;) :lol:

G'day Manfred, yeah Dad used to take me fishing as a kid too, now he is hinting for me to take him! I will certainly make the effort if the time permits, love the poem and did last time I saw it as well!... :)

Beautifully expressed Manfred did not get to spend a lot of time fishing with my dad he always seems to be working but when mum passed on early he still had three girls and me to support.

I still have his favourite reel on the cupboard with his picture and his deep sea creel in the shed.
