It's only a workshop, the project is to try out different ideas.

G/day Marty,

Bit hard to say what the site rules are anymore mate.
There are bits of free verse pop up now and again;
Swearing that wouldn’t have been tolerated on the old forum and so on.

I don’t really like to see anything other than rhymed poetry on the main members and users forums, not that I lose any sleep over it I must add. But I think we can be a bit more forgiving with homework.
What Maureen is trying to do is to get us to think outside of the square so to speak ; stretch our minds a little.
I guess it’s like all homework if you don’t like subject or prompts just give that one a miss.

Cheers Terry

I tend to agree with Marty on this one if I want to write haiku I will join a haiku forum.

Maureen knows that I appreciate all that she does so I know she will not take offence but to say that I should just ignore it on a bush poetry site is not a valid argument.

Mind you I will not loose any sleep over it .

Thanks Neville and Terry - that's it exactly - thinking ouside the square, trying something different, breaking the tedium. Nothing more and nothing less and our homework is not compulsory as we all know.

How do you blokes feel about Acrostic bush poetry?? :lol: You up for that?
