Well since it is Melbourne Cup day today I will theme the prompts around the 4 legged equines...that should give some scope for our poets, whether you be a fan of horse racing or just the dressing up and the frou frou that goes with the racing scene or placing the bets in the hope of winning a motza.

Midnights last ride

champagne, chicken and chance

Flemington roses

working up a sweat

a trail of trashed tickets

skint

As always use one prompt or use them all the choice is yours and of course your poem can be about anything you like - doesn't have to be about the gee gees.
