Homework Nothing.

Post by Bob Pacey » Sun Dec 28, 2014 12:02 pm

Mausie put the pictures up but my mind just went blank
I could not find a subject in amongst them that would rank.
I picked up the pen then put it down, and thought I've had enough
I have not written for the prompts since that flaming haiku stuff.

I could not think of what to write so I grabbed my fishing bag
I took off for the local creek to see what I could snag.
I spent three hours just wading there thinking what to write
But nothing would come to me in between the fishes bite.

So now I'm here back home again staring at this screen
If I could find some inspiration then I could vent my spleen
I'll just give this months prompts a miss, it seems I'll lost me zing
There was a time when I could sit and write poetry 'bout nothing.

Bob ;) ;) ;) ;)
The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
