SUMMER MADNESS
Lazing back in fields of clover
Gazing at the shy
Safely draped in perfect freedom
Not a question why
Swirling clouds of grand illusion
Passing overhead
Thoughts of crazy summer madness
Dancing in my head
Warming glow of purest sunlight
Pampering my face
Wisps of soothing cooling breezes
Leaving not a trace
Nights of cold meat summer salads
Watermelon seeds
Balmy nights of sultry stillness
Perspiration beads
Cotton sheets, those sweet caresses
Kiss goodnight in bed
Thoughts of crazy summer madness
Dancing in my head
