THE STUMBLE
I saw my daughter stumble
I bent down to pick her up
It was instinctive
I did not seek counsel
I did not ask permission
I did not convene a meeting to discuss
It was because I needed to
It was because she needed me
and the love was there for all to see
except for one
who felt I should have called a meeting
who thought somehow they were excluded
who felt they should have been included
who felt they should have been consulted
which in turn has made them sad
which in turn has made them sad
making everyone feel bad
because I saw my daughter stumble
and I bent down to pick her up

Re: THE STUMBLE
it's a mean game with a child as a piece on the board.
