HOMEWORK PROMPTS FOR WEEK ENDING 7TH FEBRUARY 2017

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Mon Jan 23, 2017 8:25 am

School Holidays and Christmas are over so hopefully every one is back on deck safely, so if you want to crack the whip and get that muse moving again - here's something to whet your whistle... and No! I didn't spell 'whet' incorrectly - 'Whet' is a verb meaning to sharpen or to stimulate.

twenty twenty vision

whet your whistle

walk the plank

cat o' nine tails

keelhaul

dogwatch.

Let's see what you can do with those my lovely wordsmiths.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
