Update re Dave Proust

Hi All

Thanks to a heads-up from Neville, I followed up on news regarding well-known bush poet Dave Proust.

Dave has just undergone surgery for a brain tumour.

Here is the latest update from his family ...

Dave came out of surgery reciting a poem! Apart from a massive headache he is giving cheek to the poor nurses! We really want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support! This has been really tough and all your love has helped to keep us strong.

Great news ... and I'm sure all of us wish Dave and his family the very best at this difficult time.
