2019 BOYUP BROOK COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL WRITTEN COMPETITION

Second Place—Shelley Hansen (Maryborough Qld) “This Land of Ours”

Third Place—Brenda Joy (Charters Towers Qld) “My Sacred Place”

Highly Commended—Tom McIlveen (Port Macquarie NSW) “From Gallipoli With Love”

Yep - consultancy fees! We won't be able to afford you soon!

An update - I just got third place in the international 2019 Rabindranath Tagore award for short English verse, behind a Canadian winner and Indian runner-up.

Guess what! The poem I entered was also an upcycled homework piece!!
