Thanks everyone for having a go at those last prompts - not entirely unexpected to see that the topics were all very similar given the circumstances we are all under at the moment, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that is a good thing. All the poems were excellent - so much talent in our mob.
There have been so many IMO excellent writes submitted of late that I give you all a reminder that the Ipswich Poetry Feast Competition is now open for submissions and I would urge everyone to have a go and submit some entries into it https://www.ipswichpoetryfeast.com.au/ It is important to keep these poetry competitions going wherever possible. It opened with the usual fanfare of the poets breakfast , and who knows whether or not the actual presentation ceremony in October will take place either - but it is still very much an important competition to participate in.
Lets see what you can do with these.
No need to panic
keeping emotions in check
cleansing the earth
looking after Mother
reality check
follow your heart
Take care everyone
