Well our poets here were quite busy during my absence I have to say and as always some beaut ink on the page to show for it. The outback/country seemed to be a feature on everyone's mind, despite the diversity of the subject matter ... I guess we are all getting a bit tired of the city scene as we age.
We are at last experiencing some cooler weather which is gratefully received I suspect - we seemed to have an endless summer this year. Depending on where you live of course our 'autumn/winter' experiences are very different but lets see what we can do with these ideas.
Snowflakes are kisses from heaven.
Bright lights, winter nights.
A Hot chocolate mug is as good as a hug
flannel sheets on the beds
wrapped in a wooly winter gown
the changing colours of autumn leaves
Go to it folks and weave your magic
Cheers,
Maureen

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
