I'm washed up anyway. Went to the second hand book fest and one of my poetry books was on the pile for 20 cents if it had not been autographed I would have brought it and made a profit.

Todays hairstyles demand a good quality shampoo and a natural conditioned but definately no Brylcream. I think I used vaseline ( don't coment on that one Maureen ) anyway.

I've up for over an hour and it is still only 5.26am by my clock. I have been flat out doing.. oh the list is too long.
I can't keep up with you lot these days. But I try to read everything even when I don't reply. Keep up the good work and I'll try to find something to post in the members poetry soon.

Well, I'm up in Geraldton for a bush poets breakfast, and wouldn't you know it???? It damn well decides it is winter, and time for some cold, wet weather!!!! Which is great, except for the timing - could have waiting until this afternoon!!

G'day Irene,

I'm booked for the Snowy Moutains of Music festival at Prisher/ Smiggins over the June long weekend. It has snowed the past two years so I suppose this year will be no different. Climbing in and out of the 4 wheel drives or the snow mobiles is very demanding. But the first year I was obliged to trudge through the knee deep (well it felt like it) snow one night to get to different venues. Going down hill was ok but I waited for transport to get back up to the motel. The Sundeck is the highest Motel in Australia. Wayne goes in the motel on Friday and comes out on Monday. Where as I have to go from place to place where I'm needed at the different venues. Luckly they provide entertainers transport most of the time. I love it.
