Anyone who has not been involved in Rugby League just would not understand the passion. it's almost like lining up against Brothers in the local comp. Hate Them. My son and grandsons all play and I find the friendships are enduring. Still have a beer with mates i played with in my teens and you never loose those friendships.

The Men Of League concept shows the passion and the friendship involved. Heather almost the same as Flamingoes so you will know what I mean.

I've found the World of Bush Poetry to be, on the most part, full of friendly, helpful people who have often gone out of their way to help me improve.
I live in Wangi Wangi on Lake Macquarie and have been one of the Hunter Bush Poets for 4 years.
