Got a hello text from Heather today heading back down the coast after several Sunny Days in Queensland. Wind, Rough seas, and rain. Qoute " I don't believe there is sun in Quensland '

Said to say hi to everyone. So Hi !

She did not happen to mention her middle name while up there did she Dave ?

I just realised Heather will be here for State Of Origin night. Gonna be an eye opener.

While we sat at one of the coffee shops on the 'nard' looking out over the inlet through the drizzle (it is the tropics you know) we talked about a number of things, but, unfortunately Heather's middle name was never mentioned

Beautiful one day; perfect the next. Rubbish! Cloud and rain and rough seas. Back in Ipswich now staying with the hospitable Maureen and it is sunny here - well, it was before it got dark. The sun was here all along.

Had a lovely cuppa and chat to Dave in Cairns. Lovely to put a face to the name (and his face looks just like his photo!)

Best of all, serenaded by Mannie in Ipswich. Aaaaaahhh, lovely!

Watch out Rockhampton. Better be sunshine there

For something that was so bad you are putting a lot of lovely's in there !!!

You should have gone to see Busby Marou with Manfred they are local boys from up here and are getting bigger all the time.

If that is the concert Manfred went to Bob, it was so noisy he had to put toilet paper in his ears. He was still deaf the next day (or so he says!)

Well we were driven from one end of Queensland to the other (By an Italian in a big ship) and no matter where we went it was cloudy and overcast. Now we are back in Ipswitch it is sunny and warm.....Tourism Queensland does a great job. All Victorian honestly believe that Queensland has good weather. We will just have to spread the accurate version of life on return.
