Re: Happy Birthday Zondrae
Well,
It was my new years resolution to not talk so much.. but I guess the year is almost up.
Shall I list my gifts, or is that too tackey?
I spent about one and a half hours playing Uke.
I started looking through my list of poems to see how many unfinished pieces I had or any that I could maybe salvage or rewrite or finish . I am planning a new book soon but have no idea what I can put in it.
I opened a large envelope that came in the mail and found results of a comp I had forgotten about, this included a lovely book (a Judges Choice Prize) and a HC and C certificate. So I guess those three poems will make the next book.
My daughter brought lunch, My sister in law called in with afternoon tea.
and My boyfriend took me to dinner to go with the diamond earrings (and new camping kettle)
Now I'm cold and it is almost sleep time.
and I don't feel my age so I'm quitting while I'm ahead and going to bed.
Thank you to everyone who has posted birthday wishes. I cherish all my friends.
