G'day all,
Thanks for the chuckle Kym, I need a bit of cheering up.. I recall one day, my daughter, Zondrae, when her first son played up one day at shopping, reported to me that Calvin who was about three) had turned into one of 'THOSE' brats that throw a tantrum in the supermarket. He had performed the whole bit, including throwing himself on the floor and screaming etc. She simply walked away and started to read the back of some packet or other. When he saw he was having no effect he got up and came over to her and (between sobs) asked if she still loved him. He never did it again.
And then there were two ...

Ahhh, the terrible twos (and threes)! She handled it well and she won. Good on her.

Grandies and their Grands have a special connection that not even parents or anyone else can penetrate.
Returning from Tamworth one year Krissy and I were overdosing on "Willie Nelson & Friends". When we got home, Krissy (10 at the time) said solemnly to his mother, "Mum, I promise that I'll never smoke weed with Poppy again!" His grandmother (my ex) is convinced that Krissy & I get up to all sorts of 'no good' in Tamworth, so she does her best to dissuade him in coming. Krissy's response is simply, "It's TRADITION for me and Poppy! " We've been hanging out together at festivals since he was 8 (15 now).
Doesn't look like changing anytime soon.
