morning Dave,

regarding 'Mrs Micky's Menu.' You might like to include in your pre-amble that all the items (except one) are 100% true.
I knew the lady and she didn't waste a thing. Ants etc were almost ignored. But when I saw her washing meat I managed to avoid being around at mealtime.

My preamble is the fact that it reminds me of my old Mum and I know these things are true, we had them at our place including jam tins full of water under each leg of our table to try and keep the ants off the table, when you have to wash the meat before you cook it add vinegar to the water and it would be fine, sounds yuk but some time the choice was clean it up or go hungry.

“Shooting” I thought you where writing about me, at 14 or 15 my mate and I had 2 or 3 dozen rabbit traps and made good money selling rabbits to the freezer works. That is my next one to learn.
