Congratulations to Kym, Heather, Zondrae and Tom for their great achievements in the written comp. at Morissett. (forgot who else) We had a great weekend! Not sure if Heather is back yet...her flight was grounded.

Yes, I was wondering what had happened to Heather - I knew she flew down on Qantas but didn't know if she was Qantas on the way home as well? I'm guessing by her absence that she isn't home yet. Perhaps she's walking??? Heather??? Heather?????

Maybe she's decided to stay on...and teach belly-dancing...with the yellow teddy!

Yeah, what's the deal with the yellow teddy? I saw her and Manfred posing with it in Manfred's photo. Is there a story behind it? What's the goss? Quick, while Heather's not here to stick duct tape over your mouth ...

I'm baaaack!

Had a fantastic weekend at Morisset and finally made it home on a Virgin flight from Newcastle instead of the original plan of flying from Sydney on Qantas. Still, not complaining because there were a lot of people a whole lot worse off than me.

It was a fantastic weekend - will report more later when I'm more awake. Great to meet people like Milton Tayler, Glenny, Sue (mummsie), Peter Mace, Trish Anderson, Trisha Patterson, Val Wallace, Wendy (Owly), Carol Heuchan and catch up again with Frank Daniel, Manfred, Greg North and Will Moody and a whole heap of others I can't remember right now.

Congratulations to our Kymbo for her wonderful poem and well deserved win and to Tom McIlveen, Glenny and Zondrae and Beryl Stirling for their awards. Beryl won the humerous section and is a lovely lady.

I am really thrilled with my second place in the serious section and it is a great honour to be amongst the winners with Kym.

Trisha has to be nice to me because we slept together!

So you can't remember, just as well I understand how tired you are Heather, or I'd never forgive you.

What a weekend it was.

Learn't so much from the most amazing talented people, the calibre of talent presenting the classes was amazing. A big congratulations to The Hunter Bush Poetry Club on a fantastic weekend. I had a ball, learnt so much and made some amazing new friends. It was great to finally put some faces to the names on the forum. Will try and post a few piccies.

I did remember Sue and went back but you are WAY too quick!

Mind you, some people should find more current photos of themselves. Might see what I have in my bag of tricks!
