Hey Dave - where's the photo of Patton??? Come on, share around!!! :)

What Terry didn't mention is that, not only did he win the competition, he also got a Highly commended and a commended!!
I will post the results tonight or tomorrow, as I am off to work shortly.

It was great to have Dave and Elaine and Terry and Val up for the weekend (with an overnight visit from Brian and Dot also - whom forum members won't know!)
We did a lot of talking poetry, with an equal amount of fishing talk - not that I joined in that, by the old man did!! While he doesn't relate to poetry, he does to fishing!! Let me tell you that Val and Elaine are a very tolerant couple of ladies - sitting listening to poetry talk for hours on end!!! ;) Nah, seriously, heard some wonderful stories about all their travels in the outback also - but can't use any of them for poems, 'cause they might want to write them!!
It was really wonderful to just sit and chat for three days, and relax ( a frame of mind which was very helpful when I got to work monday morning to find our computers were down again!!! :x ) so thanks for the company - you're all welcome back anytime!!

Hi Irene,
It was great being there and spending a bit of time with you and Roy, we really enjoyed those relaxed few days and you can be sure that we will be back, but I'm bringing my fishing gear next time.

So once again thanks to both you and Roy for having us there

Your right Elaine and Valma both reckoned they couldn't get a word in edgeways because of Dave and I Rabbiting on so much. What do you reckon Dave, I thought we hardly spoke a word between us mate?
