Hello Is There Anyone Out There.

Post by Bob Pacey » Sun Nov 27, 2011 9:54 am

Must be about as quiet as I've seen the site for ages everyone must be out Christmas shopping and Heathers run out of credit for the month. Marty must be at the pub researching and the other Marty must be getting ready for the Cyclone season.

Hows that for a bit of talking to yourself, I reckon it is ok because I'm only home cause i was to lazy to get up and go to the Christmas Markets.

Ah well i will just have to go back to playing computor pool or do my washing ???

well I've been busy with my Mum here for a few weeks and a new little mate found on my doorstep this morning.

I have named him Roustie because I have spent most of today, cutting dags and matts off him, and picking us as much wool as you would get from a decent size sheep almost. A a lot of patience and cajoling needed because he was very scared and frightened, but not a growl from him. Then a bath and de flea - ing he was full of them and have set him up in a kennel under the front verandah.

Can't let him into the yard as yet because Princess Elly will possibly do him like a dinner and he doesn't weigh 6 kilos wringing wet.

Of to the vet tomorrow to see if he is microchipped and have listed him on all the doggy web sites....if no success I guess the girls have got a new brother.

Nice to see a happy ending. :)

Obviously the dog knew the right place to visit.......It must have been the smell of contentment from the other two.

Turned out he only lived two streets away and apparently the little bloke was getting out while they were at work but sneaking back home just before they did . Then this nasty lady came along, gave him a bath and a haircut, threw flea powder all over him, bribed him with liver and bacon and then tied him up next to a kennel with a nice soft blankie in it and told him to be a good boy.

He didn't mind his hair cut bob and never a peep out of him while I did it but they are taking hi to the professional groomers on Wednesday. They are also going to check all their fences but have asked me to keep their contact number because they reckon if he gets out again he will be back here like a rat up a drainpipe

Sometimes one should just mind their own business ;)
