Reflections w/e 20.2.12

Post by Robyn » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:45 pm

I've been travelling away from internet access, so am running a bit late with this one, but I figured it was better late than never so here it is...
All comments/suggestions for improvement/constructive criticisms gratefully received.

Reflections
By Robyn Sykes

The scene from the ridge is an artist’s delight,
reflecting a life as the day fades to night.
The lake is a garden where memories grow,
then flicker and ruffle as aging winds blow.

Condensing emotions will gather on high
as droplets of dreams join with prayers floating by
to hover as thought bubbles, white ink on blue,
or blots of black anger in thunderous view.

Love shines like a jewel, pink diamonds in gold,
lust leaches to grey as the sunlight grows old.
Creation’s great artist is dangling a line
in waters of dreamy eternal design.
Robyn Sykes, the Binalong Bard.

Doesn't matter Robyn you snuck it in with time to spare. Love the images you have created here

this one especially caught my fancy - beautiful and whimsical
as droplets of dreams join with prayers floating by
and thought this one quite inspired
lust leaches to grey as the sunlight grows old.
Good on you for having a shot at it - hope you like the next subject,,,,you should get plenty of time to study human behaviour at the Corryong fest

Cheers

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
