Re: Saving the Roos

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.

Thanks Manfred. Wonderful photo - brought a smile to my dial too. They just seem to know don't they?

Re: Saving the Roos
Great image . . they look quite fluffy and cuddly - would make a good poncho.

Re: Saving the Roos
Great picture.
It put me in mind of that utube video that was floating around showing a group of women leading about 200 or so horses to safety in a flood. I'll see if I can find a link to it.

Re: Saving the Roos
That made me cry Leonie I had never seen it before. How about the little foal at the end of the string plunging so bravely into the deep channel after his Mum. Have added this to my list of favourites - it is awe inspiring.
What a great effort by all concerned.

Re: Saving the Roos
That's an interesting photo Manfred.
I once saw some kangaroos swimming through flood waters, they were doing a good job of it, and I took a photo of that remarkable ( I thought ) sight.
Kangaroos don't seem to be nervous of water, I think it is established that kangaroos use a battle tactic of enticing attack dogs into water so that they can despatch them by drowning them.
