Hello poets. Just chillin in the warmth of Cooktown air (while there are floods back home) and enjoying some Pattie hospitality. Prawns for tea. It's a hard life but someone's gotta do it... sigh!

Anyhow, can't talk, got to go shopping for some new leaves......A girl's got to do everything

For Gods sake Heather, don't let them sell you leaves off that Gympie bush or whatever it's called
got swiped on the elbow with a bit many years ago near Yungaburra. Much, much worse than a stinging nettle and it still itched and burned months later.
Bad enough on the arm, let alone the privates!

Fear not Ron, I'm gonna have leaves like Marty's! Got enough to worry about - what with biting green ants, frogs in the dunny, geckos on the walls, dogs that bring home dead cow bits - oh and did I mention the RAIN !! I came up here to get away from the rain. Even got a jumper on as we speak.

I've only got two hands though Bob.

They all wear leaves up here

Coolish here today too Robyn (even had to put shoes on) and blowing a gale so had to put clothes on else the leaves blow away. Well, actually the shoes were to protect me from the marauding plate sized spiders - but that's another story!
