Milton Taylor ...

Post by swaggyjoe » Thu Jan 13, 2011 12:07 pm

I just received this message from John Best ...

Milton has had a heart attack, but OK they put a stent in and he's in Penrith Hospital doing well home tomorrow Friday.

Will be convalescing at his Daughter "Michelle the Magnificent", who threw him in the car and demanded he go to Hospital. Milton now believes self diagnosis is bullshit. Evidently he had a heart attack before Christmas but got through Woodford OK albeit looking and feeling like crap. Alls well that ends well.

Regards Besty

Still contemplating Tamworth but no decision til Monday. Looks a bit bleak either route.

G'day all...
It seems to have been a trying twelve months on many fronts for many people. But, there are some saving graces as well. Milton Taylor's escape is one, as is Frank Daniel's continued resurgance.
Another bit of good news for those who have been wondering as I have how Margaret and Ed Parmenter are travelling, I had the good fortune to run into them last week at a show put on by Errol Grey, Ray Essery, and Bill Kearns. I am pleased to report that both are in good fettle, if a little less boisterous, as yet, than they were.

Cheers, Will.

Fellas we are not invincible and should get any pain checked out. Mine stated as a pain in my jaw and was lucky it was found in time. Oh hey call them heart events now. The were 16 people scheduled for the operation when I went in.

Makes you realise what is importent in your life.

Best wishes Milton

No Dave went up through my groin. Bit of a weird feeling watching the screen and the doctor showing you where the blockage is. They said one in one hundred has problems on the table lucky I must have been number 99. Take so many pills now I rattle when I walk.

G'day Bob,

I had a young Chinese (Malaysian I think) Doctor fiddling about in my groin about 3 years back. Yes it did improve my walking ability. But no fun.. they forgot to give me the sedative til about half way through. At least I got a poem out of it. 'Strike Me Pink'. I'll post it.
As an aside - this Doctor is now an associate Professor at the University of Wollongong Medical College.
