Poetry that appeals to the young ones

Patty cake patty cake - bakers man
bake me a cake as fast as you can

Have no idea who wrote these lines, but these kids have obviously embraced the poetic nature of it in their own way - which is very clever IMO and really funny - check it out here.

These kids look like cats to me . :roll: I find Yank patter very irritating.

Those lines Maureen are older than I am, long embedded in the folk verse.

I agree with you Neville regarding the Septic patter (insert irritated icon) and come to think of it cats are quite irritating in general as well . . . but I did find these coupla Seppos quite funny. Onya Maureen.
