Leaving work today around 1.00pm after stacking pallets against the roller doors & taping windows etc. going home to finish preparations there, this is one huge mother of a cyclone!!

Thanks - yes I have discovered now just how special grand-daughters are!!!
Bill - None of my kids are into bush poetry, so I am going to have to take Lila along with me and educate her about about bush poetry!!! Will have to start writing some kids poems for her to recite up alongside me!! lol
Another year or two should see her up there! ;)

DAve - all the best for the cyclone (and to any others who are in it's path) - hope all goes well, and you all keep safe and dry.

Just saw the premiers update on the cyclone...Good luck everyone! Lets just pray it takes a detour at the last minute or fizzes out! We'll be thinking of you.

Yeah Dave . . at this stage looks like you'll cop the brunt of Yasi - lucky you're in one of them flash Forest Gardens besser-block jobbies, eh? Aren't ya? I think the only thing that'll stop this big kahuna unfortunately is landfall. Someone's gunna get a touch-up along the way whether from wind and/or rain. Hang in there, bloke!
