G'day Dave. I have not long ago got the magazine, and there are a few of our friends who are prominent as you say, good work. Sorry about the favouritism folks but I think Will Moody as a bush poet is way out in front these days.
That was a great experience with the children. Interestingly, the regional arts co-ordinator in her monthly newsletter mentioned the resurgance of interest in poetry. She dropped a not so subtle hint that I ( or maybe someone else ..hint..hint) should be running this sort of event again, soon.
When I looked through my magazine I was shocked to find out that Peter Crawford had died. I hadn't known that.
I only met Peter Crawford once; at Tamworth last year. We had a good talk because he and I shared some experiences in aboriginal communities. Peter struck me as a person who would have been characterised as " one of nature's gentlemen " . Very sad.
