GREETINGS everyone!
GREETINGS everyone!
I've just made a return to the Forum!
It's good to see so many of the 'old' faces and read their contributions.
I've had a few crook years (five minor strokes) but am pleased to say that I am recovered pretty well but still suffer from more than my share of headaches.
I haven't written anything in the last four or five years as a result, but hope to gain inspiration from the members entries in the Forum and competitions.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year --- so keep on writin' and keep on recitin' as I always used to say, and remember that "only half the lies I tell are the truth!"

Re: GREETINGS everyone!
G'day Frank, and welcome back! As you will have seen, there's been plenty of writin' and recitin' going on around the place.
Best wishes for Christmas and a great New Year!
Cheers

G’day Frank and welcome back, I have been hoping to get in touch with you, I use your poem “The Flea” with great success and would be very pleased if you have a book I can buy with a few more humorous little poems I can use.
It would seem that I would never make my mark as a writer of verse and need to rely on folks like your self for my material.
Many Thanks Dave.

Great to see you back again Joe
Hopefully that also means that we might see you performing around the traps a little more often too. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a great 2014.
All the best
John

Hello Joe,
What do you know? Absolutely marvellous to hear from you. A young fellow like you has been missed round the traps. You are what we need for inspiration not the other way round. Without your encouragement many of us would not have made it this far.
I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and look forward to running into you, somewhere round the poetry scene, in the coming year.

Oh how lovely to see you back again Joe. Now we'll see some shenanigans! And what's this 'I used to say?'....Your 'keep on writin & recitin' and 'only half the lies I tell are the truth' is synonymous with Frank Daniel. There'll never be any 'used to say' about that.
Do have a bonza Christmas & give 'em hell in the New Year.
Love
Glenny
