Banana's
Re: Banana's
Dinner for Kerrie was brilliant. We had a slap up feed with great company - couldn't ask for better. Kerrie got a big surprise when we announced we were celebrating her birthday and she loved her poem and the girls' performance. Lots of laughs, lots of love and the best bunch of friends you could ever ask for. None of us knew each other before Black Saturday. Good things can come from bad situations.

G/day Heather,
Glad it all went so well, sounds like it was a lot of fun. And as you say you never know when new friendships are likely to happen.
Cheers Terry

Re: Banana's
Whoa, I shouldn't have stayed in bed so long; so much correspondence to catch up on!
Bob, they are a lovely bunch of "ladies" every one of them. Range in age from 34 to 65 (plus "our baby" little Charlotte who will be 2 next week - another party coming up!) The picture doesn't show it but there were about 24 people there, the rest were watching on the side lines.
Dave! The girls all brought their lays along with them
except me, I've misplaced mine and need a new one. Gosh, you lot will get me into trouble.
Bob, you watch too much TV. Sitting in front is Kerrie, watching the girls go through their routine while I read the poem out. Kerrie has just had a knee operation and has now hurt the good knee. Are you sticking pins in a Kerrie doll Bob? 'Cause if you are it's not funny Bob, it really hurts her!
I have to tell you about "our Charlotte". Her mum came along to belly dancing and Char was about a year old at the time and wouldn't let mum out of her sight and if she put her down or someone took her she would scream bloody murder - and I mean scream. She has been coming along to our morning tea now that belly dancing has finished and we've watched her start to walk and now she is talking. She is fair haired and has the most impish grin you could imagine. (Can you tell I adore her?) I taught her to do high-fives and now she gives me kisses and eskimo kisses as well and is talking like a litte parrot. This Thursday is Charlotte's 2nd birthday so we are having a full on kid's birthday party with hats, balloons, fairy bread, cup cakes, party pies - the works - Charlotte and a bunch of grown (but not grown up) women! Can't wait!

Re: Banana's
Sounds fabulous Heather...love fairy bread. Hope the lays the girls bought along were good fun and not of the pre mentioned persuasion
I can see the leis worn around your necks are very bright and colourful
Dave I see - it was just a little typo - you had me worried. Don't forget to try and slot Ipswich into your trip up this way.
