Re: Cervantes Results
Thanks Brenda.
My apologies to everyone for not getting these up earlier.
Results of the Open Competition
Winner - Children of the Anzacs – Catherine Lee,
Highly Commended - Rural Wife – Brenda Joy
Highly Commended – InJustice - Val Wallace
Commended – JIMMY – Tom McIlveen
Commended – Generations – David Campbell
Commended - RUBY ‘Ats’ N Stuff - Beryl Stirling
Junior Results
Winner: Ten Things My Mother Would Never Say To Me – Gabriella Lang
Highly Commended: Books – Abbey King
Highly Commended: Grandma Abbey King
Thank you to all who entered the competition, and a huge congratulations to the Catherine, and to the ones who received commendations. Once again, it was a difficult job for the judge - a good number of poems were winning poems, but somehow, somewhere, a decision has to be made. To those who missed awards, keep on entering your poems in other competitions - they are worth it.
Many thanks
Irene Conner
