Getting rid of those little orange thinggies

Post by Kym » Thu Mar 24, 2011 7:19 am

Does anyone know if there is a way to clear all the orange doo-dads beside the posts? I'm so behind in reading everything, there's a stack of them. I'd have to open each one to make it go away, which would take a long time. If I could clear them all as of NOW, I may be able to keep up with reading current posts. Help???

Yes Kymmie ... In the various forums (eg. "General Chit-Chat and Off Topic") Upper Right there should be a "MARK TOPICS READ" click on it and Voila, you've changed the World as we now know it!!

Just did it and it's all good. I've got a clean slate now and hopefully I can keep up now that I'm not confused by the little orange dooverwhackies ...

g'day Kym,

My problem is - if I do this (which I have done when coming home from a long absense) I then worry about
a) accusing myself of being too lazy to read all -
or b) what I might have missed out on.

(and - no it's not a poem and isn't ment to rhyme)

It's just toooooo hard sometimes, isn't it??
I'm so far behind in reading the posts also, but I also am a bit like Zondrae in that you think you will miss something!!. So you try to have a quick read of everything, but don't get time to post comments then!!

We get doo-dads beside our lamp posts too . . . . just wait till the council bloke with his poopy poop tongs comes along. Other-wise wait (till they go orange  )

I'm behind too Kym ;)

Even after I cleared the orange thinggies the other day, I still can't keep up! Reading everything on this forum is like housework. No matter how fast I go, it seems to be stacking up around me even faster ... I just can't do it .....

Now me being a man and very organised I have no trouble getting rid of the little orange thinggies but can someone please let me know why some of the ones I have read jiggle. Perhaps the author is a belly dancer ?

Oh the very organised bit is not true it's just that when you have a nickname like "Nigel No Life" you get plenty of time to read everything !!!!!
