G'day all, I know I have been quiet of late & I do appologise, but, I really don't get the computer time I used to, anyways I'm still here & still trying to write the odd piece & entering comps, so any new poems I won't post here until I've stopped entering them into comps.

BTW I read how most of you's all have your ABPA magazines, but I'm still waiting for mine, I suppose the mail pony takes a while to reach the far north eh!

Hey Dave, Maureen has figured it out. You gotta keep sending us money or Frankie D won't keep sending you magazines! I just checked the list, and nope, you haven't paid up.

Anyone else who hasn't received their magazine ... perhaps that's the holdup for you too??? ALL memberships expire in December. I guess that's a busy time of year and it's easy to forget, but if ya send me ya dosh, I'll put ya's back on the list.

Make cheque out to ABPA. Membership is $33. Dual memberships are $43. Any missed magazines will be posted out so don't worry, you will get all mags for the year. Or if ya wanna pay by direct deposit, send me a pm and I'll tell you the secret squirrel numbers.

Bloody women always have a logical reason for everything. I was in the paper shop the other day and an old guy came in and went off because they had not delivered his paper. Yuo guessed it he was unfinancial and was two months behind. Well he said you should have rung me !!!!!


Do Not despair Dave I was in the same boat but that Kym she will do anything for money !!!!! Worth her weight in gold I told her. Well lucky I'm a big girl she says !!!

I will take some membership forms to casually leave about (then pick up) at the National FF. Poets Breakfasts are always overflowing with both poets and listeners. I manned (I refuse to say womanned) the 'product' table last year and sold a few CDs and DVDs and BOOKs for the gang so I will put some membership forms on the table with the goodies.

I am also co-hosting the PB on Saturday (the busiest day) so I will make a note to mention at every chance the ABPA, website address etc. I try to remember to 'plug' the ABPA every chance I get. (and with a voice like mine.... or so I overheard once .. it goes a long way)
