Spooks

Post by Heather » Wed Apr 20, 2011 4:35 pm

Am I going nuts or what? I go out for the day, come home and find a new and interesting topic on the board "Sex, Religion and Politics" or somesuch. It's all a trick I think. I clicked on the topic and it came back "the topic you have chosen does not exist" and now it has gone. Weird or what?

Did anyone else see it? Did anyone go there? Is there anyone missing that might have been whisked away into this strange place?

And now we're not allowed to chat on the verandah - must have been too noisy for the neighbours. We've been relegated to the shed! Someone must have been really naughty hey Bob?

Hey Heather no, you're not going crazy. I picked up on a few comments in previous posts of folks cursing the PC (political correctness) Police and wanting to speak their mind freely. So in my infinite wisdom (or stupidity) I created a NON-PC area called "Sex, Religion and Politics".

Members very quickly felt they didn't need it so, POOFF!! (it's gone).

I also thought to gather all the non-rhyming writing and comments into the one area, so hence "The Shed" was created.

Open to suggestions and/or criticism.

As always, your humble servant etc. etc. etc. ... :)

Manfred.

That's a relief Manfred. Geez, they're quick off the mark.

The shed's ok as long as it has a fire or heater. Ok? Oh, and a chair or two. And somewhere to boil the kettle. Yes, that should do. I suppose the blokes will want a fridge. Can that be organised?

Heather :D

A shed is very good idea just remember Heather if you are coming girls have to stand at the door and call out “Ducks on the Pond” so the language etc can be modified so as not to offend their delicacies.

Hi Heather,
Along with Marty, Frank, Zondrae & of course Manfred I was one of the lucky few who got to post, I was in the middle of replying to Marty's last one when it disappeared, I think we all gave it the thumbs down. Still It's good to see Manfred is trying his best to keep us entertained.

What? When? Where? I just got home from work and I'm in trouble with the green moderator already, Spent all afternoon with a gurney cleaning out rubbish bins that campers had put prawn, crab shells in along with a few disposable nappies and little grubbie things which my grandson calls magnetts.

Ohhh just need a drink and a laugh so go on everyone make my day ???

I know the bloody violins are playing my song again !!!!
