Nicknames ect
Re: Nicknames ect
Hey Sue, the only way to change your logon 'nic' is to delete this one and create a new one. But it gets a convaluted (Ask Mauzie). Stay with 'mummsie' it's OK (really). If you need a hand getting a piccie up let me know.mummsie wrote:bear with me, im trying but nothings happening, but ill keep at it
I just wanted to hi-light the crap (spam) nics we get trying to gain access to the forum. After this weekend I'll have some time up my sleeve and I'll adjust the permissions so that the only people who can see any postings are exclusively registered Forum Members. I'm also looking to run You Tube from within the forum. Downloading video files onto our server may have some negative impacts on bandwidth, storage etc ...
Any suggestions, let me know, it's your Forum !!
Suggestions for the main website are also welcomed ...

G'day Manfred,
I am constantly puzzled by how few members of the ABPA use the site.
Seems that the posters and contributors are a small representation of the hundreds of member that our association has.
Any ideas on attracting a larger number active participants?

Sue don't change your user name. It's just that - a user name. We know you are Sue because you sign off as Sue - just as Warooa is Marty P and MartyBoy is Marty Boyce. There are some here who use a different name every time and we still know who they are - so stick to Sue and you'll be fine.

There's that red hat again...it sneaks out when you are not watching it.
Sue stick with Mummsie or you be Mummsie Sue but if you have to get Mannie to change you life will never be the same...I am totally confused as to who I am now as I write under 5 different ndp...Have no idea why.
Hey Keats I love Allan Parson - my favourite was/is The turn of a friendly card...just about guaranteed to set me bawling at the truth of the words

CheersThere are unsmiling faces and bright plastic chains
And a wheel in perpetual motion
And they follow the races and pay out the gains
With no show of an outward emotion
And they think it will make their lives easier
For God knows up till now it's been hard
But the game never ends when your whole world depends
On the turn of a friendly card
