Tip for the upcoming Melbourne Cup - Watch this filly punters, she is a stayer with a fast turn of speed. She leaves contenders behind eating her dust and wondering where the hell she went. She will be carrying her favourite colours on the day - red with purple sash and cap so keep your eyes peeled for this girl is sure to flash past the post . You heard it here first folks - PURPLE HEATHER the one to put your money on.

Sleep - I get about 4 hours a night - I am dog nursing. Have to do everything for her at the moment, deliver food and water, medication, turn her around, keep her warm and covered with her blankie, half carry her in a sling to go do wees and other things - If there are storms like yesterday a bad one I have to go and sit under the house with her and reassure her with her sister for additional company - who has time to sleep?
Ipswich is starting to get cold now at night and this poor girl is stuck under the house where it is always a good 10 degrees cooler anyway - would like to get her into a bit of sunlight , but maybe next week will be able to manage that...she is getting better every day, thank God.

Now I'm worried Heather, you come across to me as a kind, wouldn't say a harsh word[except to Bob] kind of person, now if I recall, the color Purple refers to the Purple people eater, would that make you Gnashing Heather????

Don't you worry about 'ol Bobbo, he can take care of himself. He's kindly offered to let me ride in the back of his ute in Bundy. I've said I'd bring a wedding veil so I can wave to the masses! Getting on and off the ute could be a problem though - might be needing steps Bobby boy.
