A good yarn Bob!

I wonder if Heather is old enough to remember Sheb Wooley, the author of the 'Purple People Eater'?
He used to appear in an old 'two-color' Telly show called 'Rawhide' with a long skinny fella named 'Rowdy Yates' who went on to fame as Clint Eastwood.

Glued to my screen in anticipation although I always had a fond spot for Dafydd the only Gay in the Village - it was the hot pants that got me.  although actually don't recollect ever seeing him in purple

Frank I remember a song about a purple people eater. Is that what you mean? I must have been a babe in arms though I reckon cause I don't remember where I was when I heard it. Don't remember Sheb whatsit though.

Ok, who else has been googling me? Own up! Sticky beaks.

I remember the Goodies though. Good fun. And H R Puffenstuff! Oh, and the Monkeys. Hey hey! Oh, that Davey Jones (sigh). Settle down, I was about 10.

Gotta go, girls day today. You'll be pleased to know I'm dressed in purple.
