The Dave Show hits FNQ

Post by warooa » Sat May 07, 2011 5:59 am

Dave and his entourage landed yesterday and we caught up for a couple of lemonades under the big mango trees at The Den last night. To honour their presence my twin daughters have turned six and will be holding a raucus birthday party behind their camp this afternoon between the playground and the bar.

Marty I didn't find Dave and Elaine in the least bit raucous - they were perfect house guests and very well trained    Ooooh hang about it's the kids who are raucous

Sure Dave and Elaine won't mind a bit they are Grandies ;) Hope your girls have a wonderful Birthday

We had a beaut weekend in the company of Dave and Elaine and their travelling companions. In equal measure Dave regaled us with his yarns and entertained our tribe of kids with some wry 'grandad' humour.

Now they've got just five days to do the 1500km round trip to the Tip of Cape York and then back to Cairns to fly out Sat'dy.

Was a real pleasure to catch up.

Cheers, Marty

ps. in the picture L to R dogs arse, my missus Roo, daughter no. 1 Lily, Marty, Elaine and Dave.

The saga continues !! Good to see you dressed up for the occassion Marty. First time I've seen anyone look exactly the same as their avatar photo.

I like the natural touch of the dog's arse sort of makes the picture really.

Now you have to tell us why your missus is called Roo ?.

Have a safe trip Dave & Elaine
