Going to be a long haul

I really can't deny it
I like a drop or two
The colour doesn’t matter
Red or white will do
It’s with my meal, and later
Another glass or three
But damn, it makes me hungry
And that’s a problem … see
I’m up and down to pantry
To see what I can glean
And fridge food that’s left over
Well … you know what I mean
A chicken leg, a sausage,
Beef pattie, or some stew
It’s like the red and white above
Anything will do
So I’ve told my good wife Robbie
That I’m going on the wagon
And there’s no chance that I’ll fall off
‘Till I stop my stomach draggin’
Got to put my mind right to it
Got to make my body trim
Say goodbye to all those calories
Maybe join the local gym
Then I’ll proudly take my shirt off
When I’m out to mow the lawn
Just imagine how I’m going to feel
A brand new Wazza born.
