RACING VERY GRAND.
In the racing field of Thoroughbreds,
Of trainers track and sand,
The stables, J.B Cummings,
And where racing, Very Grand.
This kindly dark bay filly,
Has tested trials - now raced,
A defeating win at Canterbury,
And often she has placed.

At Kembla Grange as well,
Ran tops for Sydney jockeys,
N.Rawiller and M.Bell.
And another start at Rosehill,
With Bowman's style at hand,
She's trained by J.B.Cummings.
And where racing , Very Grand.
With stables based at Randwick,
The horseman take there part,
Strapping riders, swimming, walking,
At three thirty am start.
Top horses are here waiting,
So keep your reins in hand,
And trained by J.B.Cummings

For Mr.Cummings is now eighty,
A cup winner from years back,
Has trained his share of winners,
The old master of the track.

For the jockeys whip in hand,
Well trained by J.B. Cummings,

In racing parlance, to quote a great songline "Some days Doriemus, some Dulcify, but everyone needs a little Beldale Ball once in a while".
Good one, Duncan.
Cheers, Marty

I'm a racing nut, Duncan. A wonderful tribute to a great man and Aussie Icon.
A little bit of trivia, Bart had a phobia of horses! True.
Well done mate, enjoyed the read and glad to see those deserving having tributes written to them.
Stay well
Neil
